From 1994 to 2003, John’s venture background and training was accomplished at Sarnoff Corp., the former RCA Laboratories.  John commercialized over 40 major technologies – next generation products and services – for Sarnoff’s clients.  These efforts produced $45 million of innovation funding/seed capital to be raised.  The portfolio of next-generation products and services grew to over $200 million in value within 5 years.  John also played the key business role in creating and spinning out five technology ventures from Sarnoff, all into different markets.  Previous to Sarnoff, John worked for 14 years in the computer industry for HP and Digital Equipment, becoming an expert in selling and marketing technical products complex I.T. projects to Fortune 100 companies.

GM's and Entrepreneurs must understand that their compelling VALUE PROPOSITION must cut through the clutter, stand out as something unique and be a "must have".  It's not about the Start-up Founder, not about a certain rolodex, and not about who has friends in high places.  A clear value prososition, based on a new technology MUST be considered by an executive if the product or service that can disrupt (or is disrupting) their business.  This is a key fundamental principle of how ITERATE operates, excelling at the translation process of taking new complex technologies into new products & services, and a second translation process of applying new products in a certain business which leads to market disruption.
